Server memory, servers that came during lead in technology still viable

Before starting my formal explanation about server memory or RAM maybe I should first educate you about what a server is exactly. I am pretty sure we hear and also use this word server many times when we talk about a technology related topic. Although many of us have heard about this word, not much of us really understand what a server is and what it exactly does. Well a server is a computer that is able to store data for processing and to centralize resources in a given network. Servers take the load off of the workstations in a network environment, speeding up processing and saving resources. There are server farms, which will be a collection of many of these computers to serve data to the internet or private networks.

Throughout the lovely and rapid years of the unbelievable changes and development of technological growth also managed to have an accessibility towards increasing the memory capacity of server memory. Many technological researchers have worked hard to make this a success. Indeed their hard work paid off by releasing the DDR3 memory enabling it for servers to use in the year 2007. Comparing its new speed with the current memory, it was indeed jaw dropping and an impressive innovation put to practice. Once the generation experienced this speedy DDR3, the rates of data and peak transfers too began to increase in speeds.

As mentioned before that technology grows very fast on its development sector it is also a known fact that each and every day there is something new invented better than before. There were more and more innovations in server memory becoming more advanced than the earlier one. There are many more models of server CPU known as LGA2011 CPU socket, E5 chip, PC3 12,800 are some well-known popular server memories that came in for our usage in the past. Surely there will be better ones being invented as we know it’s always something better than what we already have with us.

Some or maybe few individuals or companies stick with their same old server, nevertheless, it works well indeed which is questionable to them why they got to change it so. But then, on the other hand, talking about keeping up the rat race, some companies constantly are very vigilant and try to constantly change their memory servers and often get all their technological equipment upgraded on time. Many companies who deal with strong competition have to keep up with the pace of upgrades in order to be competitive.

Not forgetting to mention that we should not look at the technology which came in our leap years of technological development as they were the main roots for today’s advancements. Servers that also came during this era are yet viable and provides the service of what you want it to do. It serves the exact purpose of its very own invention although it may be slow and not have a vast capacity of memory power. But all, in all it gets works successfully.
